Dow Corning recently hosted 4 successful webinars regarding its new proven si-based coatings additives which attracted more than 1000 registrations with over 50% participation.

During these webinars, Dow Corning well featured its new family of Dow Corning® brand slip and leveling agents that are effective on wood, furniture and plastics.

Dow Corning^® 205SL Additive, Dow Corning® 204SL Additive, Dow Corning® 401LS Additive and Dow Corning® 402LS Additive are multipurpose additives that provide a range of solubilities and other characteristics at low addition levels and enable formulators to develop tailored solutions for optimized performance in multiple resin systems and applications.

In addition, participants show great interests in a new family of Dow Corning® brand superwetting additives effective on difficult-to-wet substrates such as wood, plastics and metal.

Dow Corning®67 Additive and new Dow Corning® 500W Additive, Dow Corning® 501W Additive and Dow Corning® 502W Additive are 100 percent silicone polyether copolymers that are recoatable; have little or no influence on slip; are solvent-free, BTX-free and low VOC; and are effective at low addition levels.

“With these two new family of slip and leveling agents together with superwetting agents, we are offering formulators the ability to either significantly differentiate their formulations in the hands of the end customer or simply to optimize their current formulations,” said Malone Yan, Dow Corning China coatings commercial manager.
